Terms & Conditions of Use

By making a booking and entering the premises, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that everyone attending your booking also complies with them.

Bridge Paddocks reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking and to remove any person from the premises where these Terms & Conditions are breached or where behaviour is considered unsafe or abusive.

Bridge Paddocks reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version published on our website will apply to all bookings.

1. Entering & Leaving the Field

  • It is your responsibility to decide whether the field is suitable for your dog(s), taking into account factors such as fencing height, nearby roads, canals, livestock and other environmental hazards.
  • We cannot guarantee that other dogs, livestock, wildlife, walkers or vehicles will not be visible or heard from outside the field. Owners remain responsible for assessing whether the environment is suitable for their dog.
  • Fencing and gates are inspected regularly; however, owners must satisfy themselves that the field is suitable for their dog before allowing them off lead. Any damage or concerns should be reported immediately.
  • Your booking is for 50 minutes only. Please arrive and leave within your allocated time.
  • A 10-minute gap is scheduled between bookings to allow vehicles to enter and leave safely, prevent congestion and allow routine inspections.
  • If you arrive early, do not enter the car park or wait outside the entrance gates. Please use one of the nearby lay-bys until your booking time begins.
  • Do not enter the car park if another customer is still using it.
  • Dogs must remain on a lead from the car park until they have passed through the inner gate into the secure field. The area between the car park and the field is not enclosed, and you are responsible for your dog if it escapes.
  • Your gate access code will be emailed approximately 24 hours before your booking. Please ensure you have this before travelling.
  • Please use the locks carefully and ensure both gates are securely locked when leaving.
  • Do not leave the main entrance gate open under any circumstances.

2. Bookings

  • All bookings must be made through our website.
  • If you experience any issues making a booking, please contact us by email, text message or WhatsApp.
  • Your booking starts at your allocated time. If you arrive late, your session cannot be extended.
  • The person making the booking must be present throughout the session.
  • Bookings are non-transferable and may not be passed to another person.
  • Anyone attending with you is deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions. You are responsible for making them aware.
  • Please do not bring more dogs than have been booked for. Additional dogs must be approved and paid for before or during your session.
  • A maximum of 6 dogs are permitted per booking unless prior written permission has been obtained.
  • Subletting or reselling bookings is strictly prohibited.
  • We ask you to avoid allowing another customer to enter the field before their allocated booking time, even if you are leaving.
  • Commercial use is for the professionals field only. The Public field is not for training, classes or events of any sort.

3. Field Rules

To keep the field safe and enjoyable for everyone:

  • Please pick up after your dog at all times. Waste bags and bins are provided.
  • Please dispose of all litter in the bins provided or take it home with you.
  • Water is not available on site. Please bring sufficient water for yourself and your dog(s).
  • Please discourage your dog from digging. If a hole is created, refill it using the soil provided or notify us.
  • Dogs and children must not climb on fences or gates.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately and may be chargeable.
  • Agility and play equipment is provided for dogs only. Children and adults must not climb or play on the equipment.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere on the premises, including the car park. Anyone found smoking or vaping will be asked to leave immediately, may be banned from future bookings and will not receive a refund.

4. Payments

  • All bookings must be paid for online before your session.
  • Additional dogs must be paid for before or at the time of your booking.
  • Refunds are generally not available except in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Bridge Paddocks (for example, the passing of a pet).
  • Bookings cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be transferred to another available date.

5. Cancellations & Transfers

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to transfer a booking.
  • Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice cannot be transferred, credited or refunded.
  • Same-day cancellations and transfers are not permitted.
  • Bookings will continue in most weather conditions unless deemed dangerous. Please dress appropriately.
  • Refunds or transfers will not be given due to weather unless Bridge Paddocks considers the conditions unsafe. In these circumstances, we will contact you to arrange an alternative booking or issue account credit.
  • Bridge Paddocks reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings due to circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather, flooding, maintenance, livestock, power failures or other unforeseen events.

6. Health & Safety

  • Dogs attending must be fit, healthy and free from infectious or contagious illnesses.
  • If your dog has experienced vomiting, diarrhoea or has been diagnosed with an infectious disease within the previous 48 hours, please do not attend your booking.
  • Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs are suitably vaccinated or protected against common infectious diseases.
  • Bridge Paddocks is a working outdoor facility. Grass length, mud, puddles, uneven ground, wildlife, insects and natural hazards are to be expected throughout the year.
  • Dogs known to be aggressive or dangerous should not be brought unless appropriate precautions have been taken.
  • Owners remain responsible for their dogs’ behaviour at all times.

7. XL Bully Dogs and Other Banned Breed Types

Bridge Paddocks welcomes legally exempt XL Bully dogs and other banned breed types where our site and safety requirements are met. Owners and handlers remain responsible for complying with all applicable law and every condition attached to the Certificate of Exemption.

  • The dog must have a valid Certificate of Exemption and be registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs. A copy of the certificate must be supplied to Bridge Paddocks on request.
  • A one-to-one handler ratio applies at all times. The handler must be the person named on the booking, must remain with the dog throughout the visit and must never leave the dog unattended in the paddock.
  • The dog must be microchipped and neutered in accordance with the applicable government requirements, and all exemption conditions must continue to be met.
  • The dog must remain on a lead and wear a muzzle on arrival, in the parking and access areas, and until it is inside the main field with the gate securely closed.
  • The lead and muzzle must be put back on before the field gate is opened or the dog leaves the secure field.
  • Multiple dogs attending with an XL Bully must normally be from the same household and remain within the number booked. If dogs from different households attend together, the XL Bully must remain on a lead and muzzled throughout the session.
  • The handler is responsible for keeping the dog securely controlled and preventing escape. Failure to follow these requirements may result in refused entry or removal without refund, cancellation of future bookings and reporting where required.

Government requirements may change. Owners must check and comply with the current GOV.UK guidance for XL Bully dogs before attending.

8. Discounts and Session Credits

  • Booking prices and any applicable discount are calculated using the customer account, field and booking duration selected. The final price displayed before payment is the price that applies to that booking.
  • The Pet Owners Field currently has New, Regular and Loyal Customer rates. The Regular Customer rate is applied automatically after 10 confirmed paid sessions. Sessions paid wholly or partly with session credits do not count as paid sessions for the credited portion.
  • The Loyal Customer rate and any additional customer-specific percentage discount are assigned at the discretion of Bridge Paddocks. They are personal to the account holder, are not transferable and may be changed or withdrawn for future bookings. Internal customer pricing classifications are not displayed publicly.
  • One free session credit is issued after every 20 paid sessions. A booking paid with a session credit does not count towards the next 20-session reward milestone.
  • Session credits are applied automatically to the next eligible booking. Credits apply to session charges only; additional dog charges and any other extras remain payable.
  • Where a booking duration has a value greater than one session credit, the available credit value will be applied and any remaining balance must be paid at checkout. The number of credits required is determined by the selected booking duration.
  • Discounted session-credit packs are added to the purchasing customer account after successful payment. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • A replacement session credit may be issued following an eligible cancellation without refund, or manually by Bridge Paddocks. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are not eligible for a refund, transfer or replacement credit.
  • Discounts and credits must not be resold, shared or used fraudulently. Bridge Paddocks may correct an account balance or withdraw future discount eligibility where an error, misuse or abuse is identified, without altering a booking already confirmed and paid for.

9. Liability

  • Use of Bridge Paddocks is entirely at your own risk.
  • Bridge Paddocks accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, damage or death affecting people, dogs or property whilst on the premises.
  • Should your dog escape the field, Bridge Paddocks accepts no responsibility for its recovery. Owners remain responsible for ensuring gates are secured before dogs are released.
  • Agility equipment is used entirely at your own risk. Owners are responsible for deciding whether equipment is suitable for their dog’s age, size, health and ability.
  • Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
  • Bridge Paddocks accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings. Any property left behind will be kept for a reasonable period where practical.
  • Any damage caused by you, your dogs or anyone attending your booking must be reported immediately and paid for if necessary.
  • Certain areas of the property are strictly out of bounds. Entering these areas constitutes trespass and may result in immediate removal, cancellation of future bookings without refund and, where appropriate, legal action.
  • If an item is lost outside the permitted areas, please contact us and we will retrieve it where it is safe to do so.
